About PinScheduler: PinScheduler is a scheduling assistant tool that helps creators plan and organize their Pinterest content in advance. It is designed for legitimate content planning — not for spamming or mass-posting. We enforce a maximum of 24 pins per day to promote quality content and comply with Pinterest's best practices.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Email address and password (hashed) when you register.
- Pin Data: Title, description, image URL, board ID, link, and scheduled publish time for pins you create.
- Pinterest Connection: Your Pinterest access tokens (stored securely, used only to interact with the Pinterest API on your behalf).
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Local Storage Data: We use browser localStorage to store your session token and user ID for authentication purposes. This data remains on your device and is not sent to third parties.
- Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with the Service, including log data and device information.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To schedule and publish pins to your Pinterest boards via the Pinterest API.
- To display your scheduled pins and account credits.
- To send you important notifications about your account and scheduled pins.
- To improve, optimize, and maintain our Service.

3. Pinterest API Integration
Our Service integrates with the Pinterest API to schedule and publish pins on your behalf. When you connect your Pinterest account:
- We use OAuth authentication to obtain access tokens — we never collect or store your Pinterest password.
- Access tokens are stored securely and used only to perform actions you request (creating pins, fetching boards).
- We do not store Pinterest data beyond what is necessary to schedule your pins.
- You can disconnect your Pinterest account at any time, which will remove your access tokens from our system.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Pinterest: To schedule and publish pins on your behalf via the Pinterest API.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): For hosting, database storage (DynamoDB), and serverless functions (Lambda).
- Service Providers: Third parties that help us operate the Service, under appropriate data protection agreements.
- Legal Authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
5. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active.
- Pin data: Retained until the pin is published or deleted by you.
- Access tokens: Retained until you disconnect your Pinterest account or delete your account.
- Session data: Stored in your browser's localStorage and cleared upon logout.

- Serverless architecture (AWS Lambda) minimizes attack surface.
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
